In a discussion at the Shiveree at Brown County State park this last weekend, prompted I guess by the 2 bob's special apple pie

and Dutch oven stew

, was a query on how many trailers do you have and how many license plates tags do you have ---I (apple pie bob) have four trailers and one plate, since all my trailers are small and effectively are interchangeable under the draconian utility trailer registrations of my state. Dutch oven bob uses a similar strategy. Prohandy, on the other hand, is inherently compliant and has one tag per trailer, whereas Scott apparently only has one trailer and one tag and complies under necessity.
Nevertheless, this prompts a general question among the masses. Since it is only possible to tug one unbraked trailer at a time in most states, and since tongue boxes tend to obscure tongue serial #'s (if they exist at all) and axel serial boxes are inherently masked by design how many of un's double up (so to speak) on tags and trailers.
The way I figure it there's three answers, "yes'

, "no"

, and "I plead the fifth."
