IRG #2

Postby donn-donna » Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:19 pm

Just got back to Yuma from spending a week in Quartzsite with a million crazy RVers - no internet access. Got an e-mail from Patty & Steve letting us know about IRG2. I will try to print the registration form tomorrow (have to borrow a printer) and get it off in the mail. If there is such a thing as 'pencil us in' - please do it. We can hardly wait. Let us know if there is anything we can do to make your job easier. :applause:

As a former student of Swami Procrastinanda, I have finally written the check and will mail it tomorrow; did not want to be run down by the first 100 but suddenly got nervous that by the time i print the form, figure the mileage, write the check, find the stamp, find the post office there would be a second rush of another 150 and I would have to camp out by myself at swimmers and walk in, climbing the fence, sneaking through the pot luck lines, wearing a disguise (maybe an asbestos suit???) and be thoroughly humiliated. whew.

the Swami would be so disappointed in me :?

Hi Everyone.

I've got a stupid question. Are there going to be food lockers or anything like that to keep the animals out, should I worry about this?

Thanks
Mandy

Mandy, i don't think you'll have to worry about animals. At least not any 4-footed types

Mandy,
The upper campsites, group area, meadow and tent area do not have food lockers near the fire rings and tables. There are cupboards in the cookshack, but you'll need to talk with Joanie about those. (She might be using them for other things)
