Good Afternoo Sailors.. The Capn is still alive but we are trying to repair our navigational equipment here. Were using very old equipment at this time to communicate and navigate and it takes forever to do so..

In hopes we,ll get the situation under control and regain data next week..

Meanwhile keep the ship afloat and navigate with the stars and compass. And I assign Toypusher for 1st Officer in Charge for this duration.

Capn,

Thanks for the vote of confidence! But, I'm just an old retired Air Force guy. Not sure I can figure out how to run a ship!!!

Give it my best, I guess. Hurry back now, ya hear?? :) :)

Well I guess it's time to stop riding the clock and go home. We got a new addition to our "herd" today, a mini dashound/snauzer mix. Wife says it's very cute. That evens things out at 3 cats and 3 dogs, I guess we need some birds and fish now.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend, see ya Monday. 8)

Goodmorning again everyone:

last week I complained of my joint pain issues. I have since learned that I do have Gout.
I do not fit the regular gout profile. I don't eat organ meats or much for red meat at all. I don't eat shell fish, my blood sugar is good. I am not overweight, and don't drink.
Actually my Doctor was thinking more Lupis or lyme disease.

I have since learned the BP med they put me on last spring can trigger it, as well as a regular low does of aspirin.

thanks to eveyone for heading me in that direction.

Glenn

Since August I have been crippling around 1st left knee then both. Extreme heavyness in the legs. Acute almost totally debilitating pain in the knee joints and swelling in the tissue around the knees. Muscle soreness in the calves as well. I am using Toporal and Hazzar as combination for blood pressure and way to much aspirin especially lately trying to mask the knee pain.

Does any of this sound familiar ? Gave up yesterday and agreed with the wife I'd have them looked at . I just don't like doctors or the medical profession so I try and avoid them.

Sure like to be able to walk some trails at our Midwest campout in May.
Growing older but not up !
