I figured that would be an easy one. Man I miss that kind of music. I love my wife, but her taste in music SUCKS. She likes stuff like nsynce and backstreetboys and alot of the teeny bopper garbage that is out today. Call me crazy, but I like the idea of an artist that can really play a guitar, and make it SCREAM 8)

Here's another favorite of mine, more from my time, this might stump you guys;

I'm so happy. Cause today I found my friends.
They're in my head. I'm so ugly. But that's ok.
'Cause so are you. We've broke our mirrors.
Sunday morning. Is everyday for all I care.
And I'm not scared. Light my candlrs.
In a daze cause I've found god.

man the albums "Wish you were here" and "Animals" were great

Yeah I forgot that one, Wish You Were Here is another one I need to replace. Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Welcome to the Machine are my favs on that one. A lot of this "replacing" comes from about 15 years ago when I had 2 cassette suitcases stolen out of my truck at work. That sucked.

Nah.. I had some errand and then A 2 hour snowshoe with freinds.. I am just getting back.

Your other lyrics.. Without cheating I have no idea.

I have never seen the Wizard of Oz while listening to The Dark Side.. it is supposed to be great. Some years back I did go to Montreal to see Floyd live

So I assume you don't know about Syd Barrett... He was one of the founders of the band. He was the creative genius.. lead and writers.

but he went nuts. institutionalized actually. There was a transitory period with him and his replacement of David Gilmore part of the band at the same time. For the most part Roger took over the writing.

Years later they did the Album "Wish you were here" for and about him.

Well I guess enough for this history lesson. :D

:grouch day1: Morning guys,
Ohhh this is going to be a bad day, I got some bad tacos last night. I think I would have to feel better to die. :?

Anyways, that was lyrics by Nirvana. For my two cents worth, I think Kurt Cobain was a musical genius, and Cortney Love was the Yoko Ono of the '90s. If he hadn't killed himself, I don't think any of the "bubble gum rock" would have ever happened. But that's just my opinion. 8)

Have a good day guys, I hope everyone is feeling better.

I am sorry you feel so poorly.

hmm I know Nirvana..[and like them] I have some of the CD's at least IN Utero, Nevermind and unplugged.

I know some of the words... but not much. He is hard to understand, and for the most part they are not included with the CD :x

At the time they were not available online. So perhaps I need to go back and re-listen ... with the words "in-hand" so to speak.

feel better

Well, the sickness has "passed" mostly, thank you.

Man, just got back inside from a cigarette break, it's very, very windy and temps are dropping by the minuet. Pose to be 22 degrees by this afternoon. :snowstorm: (without the snow)

besides, it wouldn't be the first time someone talked about me :R

yes that is true.. the addition of Pink Floyd does help a lot..
 yet it was the more popular stuff... the surface that most anyone knows.. How "deep" do you go with Floyd?

glenn 8)
Well, I wore out 2 records and 3 cassettes of Dark Side of the Moon. I now have that and The Wall replaced on CDs. I don't guess that's not very deep, but I like the music and am open for suggestions. I've also done the Wizard of Oz thing with The Dark Side of the Moon, that's cool, and I've seen a laser light show set to their music. 8)
 A little more history of "Dark Side of the Moon" it spent 715 straight weeks on the top 150 chart, the publisher did a study and the average buyer had bought it at least 4 times. The favorite single was not "Money" (the one even non fans know) but "Time". :applause:
