Toured to Santa Barbara (movie star wedding) via Raton NM in July (went to a National Shooting Match in Raton, NM on the way); Then a second trip to San Diego area via Mojave in Sept. (visiting some of my "Desert Rat" friends). Probably drove within a few miles of your place on the July blast from Raton. Didn't stop by - figgured you'd just yell at me, if I did....
OK.... sorry for the hi-jack - all you builders/sellers...

Not yet, not yet. Yep, you most likely did. I live in Palmdale right off of 138 on the East side. Oh, I don't yell, must be a figment of your imagination. So the next time your in the area, let me know and I'll give you some phone numbers that you can reach me.

Hi-jack? Na, just a direction change in the way the thread was going.
 And by the way, Wendy's teardrop is a nice teardrop and worth the money.

I suggested Wendy might want to get some advice on pricing from this group. She's got it listed for $9k and Ed sells them new for $6k. As nice as Ed's trailers are, I don't think they appreciate. :o

Wendy has a really nice trailer.

Ed put in a lot of extras for them. We also have one of Ed's trailers. They're great trailers and you never have to worry about leaks.

New price and more information

Postby WendyHJ » Sun Jan 27, 2008 4:56 pm

For ya'll tracking this here interesting thread, we made a full list of all of the items included with this setup, and are keeping more gear than we thought. I understand that Ed is selling new units for a chunk less than we paid. We've depreciated the unit a bit and evaluated all the extras with a critical eye and are very comfortably justified and firm on $7,000 for the entire setup.

So spread the word we are reasonable sellers offering a winter-time discount!

Web page set up at http://www.pensandpixels.com/teardrop with photos.

Thanks everyone,
Wendy

Teardrop trailer has been sold

Postby WendyHJ » Sun Feb 03, 2008 6:41 pm

We sold our teardrop yesterday, altho we'll be storing it for a couple of weeks for the new owner. TR STRK is going to have dual citizenship and be traveling every other week from Seattle to Vancouver BC and is going to be used for accomodations while in Seattle. The new owner will also do some recreational camping in the future.

Farewell TR STRK. GRN STRK will miss you!
