We have two storms that have combined to hit us today

snow... and rain sleet and freezing rain..

We should be in a belt that does not get much ice.. and we should gain more snow than what the rain will take.. it will just turn all icy again

sooo the ice biking will be better than the skiing

Yah, the weather here this winter has been a real PITA. Seems we are right on the line between good and bad - we seem to get the "Wintery Mix" everytime it storms this winter.!!

We are usually in the snow area but it seems we have managed to get in the ice again this time. Got about 4 " yesterday then it rained from about 6PM last night until at least 1AM this morning now there is another 2" of snow out there. Who knows what it's gonna be like when I go out to plow that off.
I got soaked plowing last night and the quad was covered with ice when I got done. :x
They canceled school in our areas so the roads must be pretty rough.

No snow here either, just a little rain, and cold. Post to get to 61degrees this afternoon and tomorrow, then winter mix for us too for the week end.

For now, just eat them! Later, really regret eating them!!!

Just got back in from shoveling - 1/2" ice on top of about 2" of snow, and it is raining!! :x So, I am soaked to the bone, just lucky that it's aobut 36 here right now, or I would not have gone out.!! :)

But if it was 28 instead you could have gone out without getting rained on.
And that 1/2" of ice would have probably been another inch of snow.
We're still at about 25 so with luck I can plow without the rain today!

If it had been all snow, then I could just use the snowblower and been done in half the time with half the effort!!! :D

Hopefully you also have lots of extra energy to burn those sandwiches off...
When I quit I started lifting weights and all sorts of good stuff like that, mostly because I didn't know what to do with all the extra energy I had. I was in the best shape of my life. Unfortunately somewhere along the line, I got happy and comfortable and lazy....so....I'm still trying to lose the 20(ish) lbs I gained.

Not that I'm trying to discourage you! It just seems that it never fails, quitting smoking and gaining weight seem to go hand in hand. But I do not regret quitting, its nice to not get out of breath walking up the stairs.

Very true! I saw someone down the road using one while I was plowing and it didn't look like the stuff was blowing too far. I'd guess 5 or 6 feet at best. The snow was getting pretty heavy by the time I finished last night.
