where are you going?

Long distance for the likes of me...and trust me, I'm having a hard enough time getting people to actually agree to this.....
Anyway, I want to do the NJ section of the AT.

Oh I have always wanted to do the AT. Wanted to start at the South end and go North till I got cold. Do I need to tell you to get lots of pictures.

That's already in my plans. ;)

I'm gonna try doing sections, Jersey seems do-able. I figure it will take a week to 10 days at the most.

Have you ever read the book, "A Walk in the Woods"
I highly recommend it.
In fact I bought it for my brother-in-law (does that count if I'm not really married?) for Christmas, and after he read it, I think I've got him talked into the trip.

when you get to our end of it..let me know.. Perhaps meeting up to hike some of it with you could work.

glenn 8)

Whoaaa....I'm not going that far....
Only the NJ section, from the PA border to NY. I think that's enough to start with. We'll see how that goes, then maybe I'll set my sights higher!

I know this hike you were planning just New Jersey.. but weren't you talking about doing other sections as some point.. or is my psychic radar on the fritz again?

I didn't really have any plans to, but you never can tell.

I'm just quoting this because like you said, it looks cool.

I wonder how far you could take this before the quote in the middle is to small to read?

I don't know if it works that way. I think the entire box will just get bigger to accomodate.

I dunno, maybe this is a new game to play.

And if it only takes space to turn the page, this would pad our page count alot. 8)

Let's get it to 1 post per page. 8) :D

Well, I'll have to play tomorrow, it is way past time to go home. See ya'll tomorrow.

The inside block just keeps shrinking down to you can hardly read it.

I think cross-posters might wear hats.

Good Morning Everyone!!!
Cold here this AM, 24 with the wind. Much coffee to be drank this morning. Glenn, are we the most "legal" bunch of people around? I think maybe, since there is a moderator in our little group, maybe we could get together and make him an offer he can't refuse, $> and he could help the page count.

Good Morning! :)

Don't like being a wet blanket here!

I think that maybe we should dispense with the 2-day quotes (or is it longer). I know it is all in fun, but I am getting worried about what it will do when it gets just too big. Could end up crashing the site. I don't know this for a fact, but really don't want to find out. So, please don't make them any bigger than the last one!

Enough on that.

Now back to the regular programing. :)
