Howdy from Wyoming

Postby Rescue Wagon » Thu Feb 14, 2008 10:57 pm

Well I guess I missed this part, so better late then never.

I have been looking for an alternative to tent camping after getting no sleep last summer when I took the kids(twin 4 yr old boys and 2 yr old girl) camping at the lake. And what would have to be a 10 on the freaky camping story scale when me and three others went hunting last October.

So howdy and I hope to learn a lot from a great group of people.

Hi James, welcome to the forum. It looks like a brood of your size will require either a very large teardrop trailer or a tiny travel trailer that you can stand up in. The best part of a larger rig is the fact that your hunting buddies can use it with you as well. If you decide to build, check out the many pics and construction info available on this site. Ask any question you want and we'll try to help you as best we can. Let us know what you have in mind.

Thanks Roly,

I think I am going to go with the larger trailer, my first attempt is posted in Non-traditional designs. I think that I am going to go with a 162" x 79" x 72".

Welcome.... with the kids at those ages, maybe a tent pushed up next to the door of the teardrop would work... unless you're doing more cold weather camping with them.

Good luck !!!
