Cheap Cruise

Sorry 'bout that, but we got a great deal on a cruise out of Galveston. :D :thumbsup: Military rate is a wonderful thing. We will be getting back on that Saturday. If we haven't gotten too sunburned, we might drive up and see who showed. We REALLY were looking forward to seeing y'all. :(

Steve,

We should be there by late morning, or early afternoon. I've never been there either...only looked at the web site and map. Guess it would be better if we could be by the water, but then it really doesn't matter?

Years ago we camped on the South side of the lake, and I do remember it was nice, and the area is pretty with nice trees.

I was holding out hope that I could make it, but I got sick yesterday and that wipes out this weekend for work, and maybe days during this week as well, so . . .

I cleaned up the tear yesterday and checked the supply's. I have the kayaks hooked up and ready to roll
