Hi everybody,

Can somebody tell me what the name Redneck means?
For example Redneck teardrop?
Thanks, from Holland

You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, "One nation, under God."

You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if: You still say " Christmas" instead of "Winter Festival."

You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a redneck if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.

You might be a redneck if: You treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always have.

You might be a redneck if: You've never burned an American flag, nor intend to.

You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same.

You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.

...growing up in the Deep South, I thought ALL rednecks lived South of the Mason-Dixon line...as I got older and travelled the country, I found rednecks everywhere I went...even Vermont and New Hampshire(Maine is mostly redneck) and was absolutely amazed...being a redneck is not relative to your locale but rather to your state of mind...I am sure there are rednecks everywhere in the world........

Ohh Madjack iz thar a diffrence between a Hillbilly State of Mind or Redneck State of Mind?

I was told once when I visited Mountain Home Arkansas at a place called McFadden Ranch (nearby Mountain Home) Shoal Creek? that Id be right at home if I moved there and bought me a pickemup truck, a Bass Boat & Coon Hound..not to mention a shot gun or 2..

Huge place with a lot of acres.. and also to my surprise a lot of old cars..

Now anybody living in this area can tell me if this is so..Real nice scenery in that area..

Memories memories..this was back in the 80,s.
