Relaxing Around the T&TT Family Campfire

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby swissarmygirl » Thu Feb 21, 2008 6:34 pm

Hi Capn! I see you are working hard! Here's my thoughts (for whatever they are worth):
I would condense the information about the tears and add more specifics about the actual tours. Of course I might just be saying that because I already know about teardrop trailers. I would put a bulleted list about what a teardrop offers. Something to the effect of
"Our teardrop trailers offer:
sleeping quarters for 2
your own kitchen area
etc, etc......"
If I were considering signing up for one of your tours I want to know, what places are we going to? what will we see? will there be a guide? how long is our trip? how much "free time" will I have? how much will it cost?

That's all I can think of right now.....

And Honeyman wanted me to add that we need to know who, what, where, when, why and how.

Hope this helps!

Im still here writing and a calculating.. but yes those are very good points. And those I have covered..who what when where and why. Ohh and how..

Locations Im checking out and will vary according to time of year. Yup Im working on it.

Freetime yes, we,ll let you feed the reindeer, play with the Moose and even wrestle with a bear to try to take away his freshly caught salmon..or just take a siesta.

These Tours are Guided during the entire tour, also if desired a local City Guide will be reserved, as they are licensed here if a city sightseeing tour is given normally from 2 hours to 3 hours in length.

Thanks Lisa..

Good Afternoon Everyone. Well Its a Great Sunny Afternoon here and I just arrived home.

I didnt get eaten up anyways nor did I get tomatoes thrown at me..  I was a bit nervous yes, but it all went well.

I was greeted by the panel at the end and I was told that our idea is one of uniqueness and exciting as well as economical.

I was asked a lot of questions about the Teardrop Itself. Also they would of wanted to come over or for me to bring over the tear in person so it could be physically viewed. 8) 8)

It was called as unique and cute. They were surprised as to the size and compactness of the tear..

Now I have a million and 1 papers to fill out. Also a legal business plan needs to be given on paper.

Business name, Insurance & Legal Matters.. Also the main tools are the tears themselves.

But Im indeed happy of the way it went... Whew. :) :) :)

They didnt expect all the write up and info that I had done majority of the night for them..Well thought out I was told..

But ok.. now for the next stages..

If you had all of the parts cut with precision (like with cnc) you should be able to put a teardrop together in a week or so with a couple of people. Of course you will have times that you have to wait for glue to set or finish to dry. That time could be used to do work on another (or more) tears. I think with all parts cut and ready to go, that 3 or 4 people could put 6 teardrops together in a month.
