Hello everyone. Name is Rick as I have not really introduced myself yet. Been lurking and doing my homework for quite a while. Love the site and everyones work. I am about to start my own build and this gathering is just what I need. Would love to meet some of you and steal ideas, I mean check out your T&TTT's  . So I guess I am seeing if it would be o.k. if my girlfriend and I stopped by on sat. ? Not too far from Houston, and I figure worth the drive. Just want to see em' in person and meet everyone. Let me know.

Come on out and take a lookiesee. Just a warning though you will be hooked and become addicted. This will be all you will think about until you get one done. Believe me I know.
You will get some good ideas and you will change all that you have planned already though. I know at every gathering I am amazed by the ingenuityof some of the ideas and think to myself.

Why didn't I think of that. :duh:

I already change my mind on a daily basis. I lie in bed at night just thinking. Hooked bad and not even started. I am looking forward to seeing the Fish Inn . I love the build as well as its intended purpose as I am an avid fisherman. Cant wait ....... I will be heading that way.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We couldn't make this gathering. Too many irons in the fire.

I'm still hacking and coughing, too.

You guys have a great weekend. I'll be thinking of you having fun while I slave away at the office.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Hey everyone! This is Penny. Rick and I would like to thank ya'll for welcoming us to your campsites. We appreciate the hospitality and the info. I hope we didnt intrude on anyone. We had a wonderful time checking out your teardrops. Unfortunately we missed out on the fried turkey but we decided to call it a day. Thanks again for your hospitality! Consider us in on the 2nd annual.

Lake Summerville gathering was a small one, but it was fun. It was great to meet new friends, Karen, Marilyn, George, Penny, Rick, Gerri, and Scott. The weather couldn't have been better, to fellowship was great, the food was really great, and I hope a good time was had by all. I know we had a great time. I have posted a few pictures here: http://s127.photobucket.com/albums/p121 ... Gathering/

OK, so Maggie (AKA Kujo) doesn't like strangers but after many treats and 2 years she has made a new friend. Maybe for the Friday nite move we can have a showing of Ceasar the CA Dog Whisperer.

I will have a sign (or a wanted poster) by her cage next time. She was pooped after her first camping trip and aside from the biting bees, she had a wonderful time - she just didn't get enough to eat. (You guys have fast reflexes).

We enjoyed meeting all ya'll - and I don't consider myself a newbie anymore.

The turkey was Larrapin! Yippieeee!
