Hi all,

New to tear drop camping but definately not to camping. My wife and I are ex teachers who love camping. We have all kinds of interests that range from cornerworking with the race cars (SCCA) at Road America, to watching the planes (EAA) at Oshkosh. We're revolutionary war (NWTA/BAR) re-enactors. Involved in geo-caching, mini coopers, riding my Triumph and canoes. Just looking for s few more good hobbies.

Welcome aboard Gary...are you thinking of buying, or building or already have one? Either way...there is a lot of good info on this forum. Teardropping is really a fun way to camp! Just remember, whatever way you decide to go...pictures are required. Doug 8)

Hi again,

I purchased a tear drop from Pleasant Valley Trailers in Ohio. The 5x8 Lil Silver. They are holding it for me until I pick it up at the end of march. Really looking forward to it.

Hello Neighbor:
Welcome to the madness. Always glad to hear of another teardropper from this area. I see you're coming to CNTL II, that's great. It's the best way to learn about this type of camping and to meet some really great people.
I live in Kenosha and am retired from Chrysler, so maybe we can hook up at Bong this summer. I usually go out there 2 or 3 times a year, during the week, when it's nice and quiet.

Welcome Gary!! We purchased the same trailer (in white) from Pleasant Valley in January. What a great group of folks! Rob and I are thinking about coming to the Cooler by the Lake gathering if the weather cooperates. Don't care to go if there's still 3 feet in snow on the group. That's a little bit too "cooler". Maybe we'll meet you there.

Hi Gary and wife,

Welcome to the forum. Since you are buying, you won't need any building help, but you can jump in and converse with the rest of us. Graduated high school in 1969, so did I, it was a good year.

See you around.
