If you've never been to Beavers Bend you're really gonna like it.

Let's start praying for none of that wet stuff that falls towards the ground ya know....

Here is the current list of attendees. We do not have assigned spots. When you arrive you may choose any of the empty sites.
This is the current list I compiled from the previous Beavers Bend 08 thread, though no deposites have been received.
If you plan to attend and will be in a tent please still pm me to put you on the list.

I'm hopeing to be at Beavers bend. I have a Little guy TD. My primary passion is canoeing. I will be in Louisiana the week before BB and Missouri the week after. I'll take my chances finding a camp site in the unreservable area. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Already know HAP. BODYMAN is a fellow Iowan.

Okay y'all .... My friend Darren S from here near OKC is going to be coming to the BB and camping in his 1970's Compact Jr TTT !!!
He was with me at the Mid MO and he's a seasoned camper , loves to camp and will also be bringing his small pontoon boat. He'd really like to get one of the spots right next to the water and is very willing to share.

Does anyone know if there's any reason why he can't take his boat into the water right there , or what did anybody have to do with their kayaks in years before?

He's a really nice guy and I'm sure you'll all like him. He had a blast meeting everybody at Mid MO .

on another note

SATURDAY MORNING BREAKFAST

I mentioned before, since Gary & Trudy aren't going to make it

that I would volunteer to bring stuff to make RV Omelets. Remember we did this a couple of years ago... did you like it?

The group has turned out to be soooo big so I'm wondering if y'all still want to do this or just leave breakfast to yourselves.. I've had several folks already say they are looking forward to the RV Omelets.

I figured 30 trailers, about 60 people so .....

Could some of you help with bringing Freezer bags, eggs, or onions, peppers, etc.?

Well, time has conspired against me. We still plan on coming but we will be in a tent, not the teardrop.

I keep making a habit out of taking on too much. The past few months I have been preoccupied with running a marathon, which was last weekend. Doing that has not left much time to work on the camper.

With that said, if somebody with a camper wants our spot they are welcome to it. All I ask is a for a little room to park my truck (the tent goes in the back).

Now I am shooting on having it ready for the Petite Jean gathering in June, that should not be a problem.

Update: Yes there will be a "we". I just sent you a PM.

Don't worry about that!!! Come on down anyway ... you can ask the rest of them -- I camped plenty of times in a tent while the building was going on ... then got the Jewel Box campable and still looks like I'm in the middle of building it !!! haha

are you coming alone or is WE another person ? I'm making the signs.
