First camping trip with my new T/D

Postby ChickenFoot » Tue Mar 04, 2008 10:01 pm

The wife and I are heading to Huntsville Start Park Friday afternoon for a couple of days to try out our newly built T/D and fishing. I sure am looking forward to this  . It also will be my wife's first camping trip in a long while (I hope she like it :worship: ).

Congratulations Chickefoot!

Get ready for the lookie-loos. When you camp in a Teardrop, you never really camp alone. It's a lot of fun and you meet a lot of people.

I hope you two have a great time!

:applause:  Have fun and leave early. I got to pay for the gas twice because Mike was having to give tours. We even had one guy whip off the road just to look. It is amazing how much attention you get when you are draggin something different.

Congratulations on the finish. Enjoy camping in those wonderful trees. And don't forget to bring us back some pics!

Oh, and very nice job on the trailer. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Is the PVC on the roof rack for fishing rods, or what?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Hey your TD looks great! Is the PVC pipe on top for Fishing rods? Look forward to seeing it one day on a TD gathering!

Hey jplock, nope the pvc pipe is for holding awing poles and table leg. The wife and I had to postpone our 1st camp out due to having to cover for a coworker who had a death in his family and the bad weather that blow through here like gangbusters yesterday.
