Great to see ya'll are going to make it.
We'll be in Buffalo early Friday morning if you want to caravan. It should be a beautiful drive through east Texas with everything in bloom.

My friend Darren S and his TTT 70's Compact Jr may be getting down there late Thursday evening ... He's bringing his little pontoon boat too and hoping for a waterside spot.
He loves camping, funny guy, in his 40s and eager to meet everyone. He had a great time at the Mid Mo
Also he said he is more than willing to double up if needed as long as you're not obnoxious or rude... I assured him I've never met a teardropper like that. Hahahahah

If I don't head down Thursday night , then I'll be there noonish on Friday !

Firelion,

Try http://www.mappoint.com for a map and directions. It is pretty good. It also provides warnings if there is a problem (high water, bridge out, accident, etc.) for the roads that it charts.

Doubles....... Diverguy messaged me and Linda and if coming will be there very late so I told him he could double with me. My friend Darren S is willing to double too... has only met FireLion and BillP from the Mid MO campout.
Darren S is a seasoned camper, nice funny guy in his 40s and has a TTT . Will likely get there Thursday night too. He said he does not mind doubling up as long as it's not someone terribly loud or obnoxious (I told him I've never run into a teardropper like that)

SO..... Would he need to double with me and have Diverguy double with someone else? Or would one of you mind sharing with Darren S *if need be*?

Darren's not on this forum that I know of yet, so let me know .
thanks much !!!!!!

Julie

boating

Postby hap » Tue Mar 11, 2008 4:47 pm

Hi Julie,

We are not allowed to put a boat in by the camp. Because of my CRS I can`t remember why but I think it was too close to the dam. :( How ever you don`t have to go far to put in. :)

Dick from Iowa, I think thats you, it will be good to see you at bb.
