I'm not sure I'll have any photos today. I was out plugging holes today. I was using one of those stepped bits to open the holes up for 3/8" wooden plugs.

Little did I know that one of the holes lined up perfectly with some 12-2 romex, that was powered on at the time. I drilled right thru the romex and killed power to the ET, and killed power in the garage at the same time.

(I don't think wearing safety glasses helped me much today!)

We got the garage running quickly, as it was just a tripped breaker.

The teardrop will take a little longer. I drilled thru a main power line that ran the length of the trailer. So some re-wiring is in order. We already went to Home Depot to get the wire and the junction box. :oops:

I'll look, but I don't think there is much in the way of photo ops out there at the moment...

Okay, there wasn't much to shoot today, but I figured I'd laugh at the wires a year or two down the road, so here goes...

Installed the tongue jack

Started plugging holes

Hit wire plugging holes... 120v circuit destroyed. 12v circuit exposed to the elements...

The holes were not THAT big... they were 11/64ths, just slightly larger than a drywall screw. But I was using one of these...

Gee Mike I felt dumb when I cut the hole in the top of my brand new battery with a hole saw while cutting the hole for the battery vent. so you didn't do that bad. At least it wasn't a $75 battery.

Looks great Mike, are those antennas still going to work when they get rid of annlog. I might have to invest in Satelite dish. I was going to buy a RV type antenna but I'm going to wait and see what happens after Feb. 08, I think thats when the change happens.

It was a beautiful day outside, sunny and bright... it was still very cold, at least this morning, but that didn't stop us from making some progress on the ET. :)

Chell repaired the wiring that I drilled a hole through. :oops:

Meanwhile I built a platform for the dog crates, moved the countertop forward, almost flush with the dog crates...

Finished the wiring in the inside counter area, installed the TV and microwave, tested the cable connection and the antenna reception...

I did lots of little stuff... but not much to show for it... certainly no photo opps.

I was outside for 11 hours today, and had fun... But now I am sore from head to toe!

P.S. The counter area beckons for some kind of a tiny cooler/fridge to keep beer and wine in... anyone have any thoughts what I could use?

A nice small ice chest would be most practical ,unless you're real thirsty... :o Looks like the cages took up the space for the cooler...Hmmm?????

For inside, I might have to build a miniture version of the classic ice box, just big enough for a bottle of wine and 5 beers. I'd set it on the counter.

The rest will the in the galley out back, along with the fridge (compressor style) Remember this picture?
