Heikki,
I don't know whether to :applause: praise you, or :x curse you.
AutoBarn.com has lots of fun, imaginative, kinda crazy, lights that have my head spinning with possibilities.
I almost had my exterior lights figured out.
Now you point us/me somewhere else to waste our/my time. :?

:) :D 8)

Shucks if I can remember them at all.. were they Marine lights?

was it these? I learned about them about 2 years ago here on the forum and ordered them. They are footwell lights from commercial buses and are stainless steel, give out the perfect amount of light(not blinding) and seal up nicely.

I have dug deep into my receipts, old emails, and searched far and wide but can't find them - so if anyone has some info, please post it up as I need two more for my next build :-)

Barb and I have the same light. It is a solar deck light with an amber led. Has just enough light to find your TD and doesn't attract bugs.
Here is a pic from Barb's album. I didn't have one right now.

Am I the only one without a porch light? I always have an external lantern or headlamp when I camp, didnt see the usefulness of the additional hassel to wire up a porch light.

I'm installing a porch light but it will be below the door instead of above, I want to be able to see what's in my shoes before I put them on ;) I'm using a strip LED light, waterproof, flexible and near indestructible.

Thanks Dave for the reminder.. Im really having a tough time with that part since Ive got the Camp Inn style door system.. I was thinking if I install it above the window or then below the door which seems to be the best place so far..

Also the shape has to be right for my Finnicky Mind..   What area would you suggest?

Here's an LED one," This light has an LED module with 4 LED's. It has a stainless steel trim ring. The light is WATERPROOF and measures 3" x 1-1/2" and requires a cutout of 1-13/16" x 1"

It's from a seller here in Canada (Ebay) who I've bought from in the past.
