How to use the stimulus check

Postby Kurt (Indiana) » Wed Mar 19, 2008 7:17 am

As you may have heard the Bush Administration said each and every one of
us would now get a nice rebate of 300 dollars on up, depending.....

.....If we spend the money at WalMart, all the money will go to China
.....If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs
.....If we purchase a computer it will all go to India

.....If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatamala

.....If we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan
.....If we purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way to keep that
money here at home is to buy prostitutes, beer and visit Indian casinos,
since those are the only businesses still in the US.

Spend it on your future camping.

Put that money in a jar as cash. When you go camping pull it out and pay for the camp site with it.

I have only camped at a local state forest so, in my case it would go to the Division of Forestry. So it would help provide nice camping for me in the future.

How's that?

MK, great idea. Actually, I'm starting a camping fund for this year. I plan on saving $40/mo. this should cover the camping fees plus some of the gas.

Maybe I'll put in the check and it will carry me through a couple of years.

I know this money is intended to get us spending to "boost the economy", but our money will be put into our 4% interest savings account. It may not seem like much, but it adds up quick.

I might mess with the government and not cash it. Did that once when I got a $1 refund, three years later I had to pay in and they deducted that dollar.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

you know Miller brewing is owned by a South African company....

May 30, 2002 - The long-anticipated sale of Miller Brewing Co. to South African Breweries was announced today. Miller's current owner, cigarette-maker Philip Morris Cos., agreed to sell the brewing operation for $5.6 billion, slightly more than the $5 billion price tag discussed in pre-deal stories.

Watch what beer you buy!

best. beer. ever.

True story.. when I visited TX last fall I stuffed the suitcase with Shiner beer on the return trip.

This summer it'll be Shiner beer and hot links. No one out here knows what the heck a hot link is, and I've been craving one for months.
