One ran through the back half of the pasture east of the house where I grew up. Supported garlic in the fields in late March through mid-April, and mustang grape vines all year long. Dad put in a 484-foot water well and put a pair of earth tanks in the pastures (one east of the house, one south).

I would go back, for a jug of water from that well, if I knew it was still there.
Mopar's what my busted knuckles bleed, working on my 318s...

There is nothing better than limestone filtered water. :thumbsup: Ruby has 3 impoundments that have water all the time and they lease the pastures.
