We have been hard at work on our teardrop check out our album I just posted new pics. We even got the roof on Monday night. I've also been working on getting my gardens started it's about that time again. Onions and potatoes are in the ground. Daffodils and pansies were planted yesterday along with some wildflowers along the fence line.

Looks like the trailer is coming along just fine!! :applause: Gosh, isn't that's quite a tight fit for Brian?

I'm so happy to hear about your garden! It's encouraging since we still have about a foot and a half of snow covering ours. Spring usually comes around the first week of May here and I'm counting the days!!

Again, great job on the teardrop! You guys are making great progress!

Hi Mandy :) Hi Eunice :) How is it going? You haven't been online much.

Miriam and MK, thanks for the compliments on the hatch. (MK, where have you been hiding?) Freddie, (aka 'Houdini') was very "hoppy" that I waterproofed his crib. He croaked that it was a very "rivetting" moment to sleep in his tupperware bed and not the water-bed it had become. But if he starts moving in more of his homies, I will have to evict him. Yep, he will be out on the street...a homeless frog. He will be known on the street as "Freddie the Freeloader"

Shelly, you around? How was the camping? Did you get any bites on your house yet? Keep the faith...it will sell soon.

Little Rabbits - ya'll are making great progress :thumbs up1: You will be so excited when you make your first voyage. A lot of us keep "camp list" and that is a huge help when packing for your trip. If you want one, I have a couple of different ones, just PM me and I will send it to you. They do have them online too. Some folks keep a travel diary/log with destination, mileage and time. I have a 3 ring binder with A-Z with all the campground info I have been to or want to go to and a log I keep. I don't camp without it...it's my camp bible.

Ok, bedtime!...I've got some annoying hiccups going on right now and it is making typing difficult. See ya' later.

I was wondering where Mary K was, too. Joanne seems to have gone AWOL since her camp cooking forum, too.

I'm still here! Camping was awesome! It snowed on us but it was so pretty. I've got some pictures...just haven't downloaded them yet. I'll try to get them out in the next couple of days.

Someone came by yesterday to look at the house, but I haven't heard any feedback yet. It has to sell soon, because keeping it clean is killing me!! :?

Hi Ladies,
These last few days have been busy ones. I have no internet access at home right now so untill then I'll be here at work aaaa working yea thats it. One of the great perks at working with the University is you get to take free classes so I am taking a class this fall semester. Sooo I had to pull myself away from everything and study.

Shelly: Good to hear that you had a good time camping. Geez you and Pam are hardy people for camping in the snow. I for one am a big baby when it comes to the cold I couldn't do it.

Rebecca: Yikes you mean that frogs actualy get in to the TD? Well at least you don't have to worry about spiders in the galley.

Sam: Hi there hows the Turtle?

MK: Where ya been? Are you and elmo still sword fighting eachother?

See ya all later

Hi ladies. I have been busy. I am with the Boy Scouts in my church now and I take care of my mom. Now my dad has teminal cancer so that has been taking up most of my time. I intended to get the tear painted before the DAM gathering but now it doesnt look like I have the time. did do this though. Tim Hornshaw made the buttons from a picture of our teardrop

Eunice,

I was wondering how you were doing. I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. Enjoy him while you still have him...it seems harder when a daughter loses her dad. How is your mom doing?

That pillow is adorable and what a great idea with the buttons. I want to make something in the shape of my teardrop. I really want to do stained glass but I don't know how so I'm going to make a fake one. I have the paint and liquid lead so I'm gonna give it a try.

I will pray for your mom and dad Eunice, and for you too.

thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. both of my parents are in their 80's. Mom is good as long as we keep her blood sugar level.
Daddy fought bladder cancer for 13 years. He gave up the treatments 3 years ago. The past 2 weeks have been bad. He is close to 89.
My family has a very strong faith so even though this is sad we know he will be in a better place. My faith supports me always.

The gatherings start in May. Not sure what I will be able to do. Only time will tell.

  I can't believe this is happening again. My husband was three weeks in to his new job when he got real sick and now he has been let go from the RTA bus job .You can only miss 2 days while you are in trainning. He did pass the CDL driving parts and does have that liscence. He made a perfect score on that. Now he gave me the sickness, so we are both home sick. At least I got my hinge from Grant yesterday.Things will be on hold until he gets better and finds a job. He also decided driving the city bus was not for him. He found out it is dangerous while gangs getting on bus and fights. A 61 yr.old bus driver got beat up real bad. Eunice, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I will keep you in our prayers :worship: Peg

Hey Peggy, sorry about your husbands job. He is probably right about the danger. We live in a small town so don't have the larger gang problem. My daughter lives in Monassas VA and didn't even think about driving for the city after she quit the school.

We'll keep him in our thoughts.
