Hey Dave... Go Seawolves, Right???

Postby Dean in Eureka, CA » Sat Mar 15, 2008 12:45 am

Well Dave,
The most lovely lady, TDN, took me to Humboldt State University this evening...
Not to watch the high powered Lumberjacks win a basketball game, but to watch the high powered, Blind Boys of Alabama put on a performance that had the place hoppin'!!!.
Meanwhile, my HSU Lumberjacks were up in your neck of the woods playing in the opening round of the Western Regionals against Hawaii.
They lost...
So, I guess we won't get a chance for a rematch this year. :(
With that, I say... Go Seawolves!!!

It's too bad my team was one & done this year.
All four seniors had recovered from nagging injuries earlier in the year, don't know what the heck was up with that poor showing against Charminade...
One thing that struck me and is very intresting...
My team hosted the WRs last year and your team is hosting them this year.
Tip-Off in about 12 minutes!
Go Seawolves!!!

The Men's 4th-ranked Seawolves (29-5) will now advance to Thursday’s semifinals against 10th-ranked Augusta State (26-6) at 2 p.m. ADT. The Ladies will meet Northern Kentucky (26-8) in the national semifinals on Thursday at 4 pm (ADT). Gee..guess I know where my mind will be at tomorrow!!!! BTW..nice northern lights in Juneau tonight!

Well..both lost, but played good games!!! We'll give the Lumberjacks another chance next year.

I think we have the U.S. Distance National Championships cross-country ski races in Fairbanks this weekend, and the World Telemark Freeskiing Championships at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska this weekend..Then there's always the NCAA games to watch too. Guess I'll get over it!!
