I checked out forestry.ok.gov and there is NO BURN BAN except in the far opposite corner from the Bend. And the s.e. corner area has been getting some rain lately, they are supposedly getting rain today and maybe Wednesday but shows it will clear up for the weekend .... so we may just have a little mud.

Well guys, I guess ya'll will have to count me out on this one. :thumbdown:

I don't know how many of you guy remember this from the first of the year, but the surgery my wife had is just not healing right. She when for another cat scan last week and might be back in the hospital for another surgery this week.

Belive me, I would much rather be camping. Maybe next time, ya'll have a great time.

Johnny sorry to hear that she is not ready to make it out camping. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss you at Bever Bend. I was looking forward to meeting you. :worship:

Hey y'all .... I'm trying to get geared up.... 9 pm Tuesday and running to the store... thinking of how much I really need to bring. Clothes are packed, EZ up in the car... Trying to decide if I want to take off work early on Thursday .

My friend Darren is/was planning on coming in his little 70s Compact Jr and so looking forward to meeting everyone ,called me this morning and an uncle passed away . If the funeral is Thursday then he's still camping, if not then another time. Hope he can make it !

I think I'll only make deviled eggs for the potluck ... but a bunch of em.

Everybody have a safe trip!!!!

Ron-Ain't that the truth! My poor little trailer has been out only once since Minden last year. And that was to trappers camp with the local FFA. My hubby and Lucas take it the first weekend in December. It's always a rough trip for 'Minnie'. She comes home smelly and dirty. But the kids have lots of fun! And that's what matters!
