We're just about packed and ready to go. Karen will be hobbling on crutches with a badly spained ankle, but she's determined to get out of town.

SteveT . . Are you leaving Friday morning? We're leaving Thursday morning if everything goes as planned. If we have to wait till Friday for some unforseen reason, I'll give you a call.

Woody . . . do we need to give a name for the camping spot? We'll settle up with you there.

I can pitch in some $$$, but can't haul any up there. If some of you pickup drivers can bring some, I'm sure others would pitch in on the cost.

Sounds good Eddie, but I may have to leave Karen at our camp. If she has a couple of drinks, she may throw the crutches out and want me to carry her piggy-back.

I'll be leaving Dallas (Frisco) Friday morning, if anyone wants to tag along.

I'll probably do my traditional road-trip breakfast at McDonalds (don't know why, I just do it when I have a long drive ahead), and hit the road.

Everybody have safe travels !!! There is some rain and thunderstorms likely down that way today, Thursday, but it'll blow off later tonite and be nice for the 3 day weekend!!!

I took off work today , and pretty much all ready but will wait till Friday morning now, and possibly, just possibly, someone will be coming with me.

All you Thursday arrivals, watch out for the rain and be careful !
Remember one of the long pullthru's will need to be for doubling up, I don't know if we're to that point though... Catoosa Grani and Jon might still wanna double.

Karen... I have a Coleman camping chair with the recliner/foot stool thing so if she needs to put her feet up, you can use that!

I contacted the park today. Everything is fine. Park is not under water but the lake is 22' above normal and the boat ramps are closed as they are under water.

River is normal so canoes etc are fine.

Well I said that we were bringing the smoker but Charles changed his mind.

Harvey and Lenora will not be making this trip so no one will be doubling up this trip.

We will miss all of you that have had to cancel.

For uncontrollable reasons we will not be making the trip. I am really bummed, I was looking forward to it.

So if there is somebody doubling up on a site there is no need, you can have ours.
