Took a few days off to travel to Myrtle beach in the RV. Soak up some sun and re-energize. Got two days in since coming back. Here's the progress.

Thanks Peggy!! Great day today. My father is visiting from tennessee and he tends to "prod" me along to get things done. We put on both sides, framed the door, put in one window and painted the trailer frame.

Tomorrow plan to cut out the lexan "iron cross" window and maybe just sit back and admire our progress. 8) Running out of building materials!

Am I including enough Pics?? I was told that was a requirement and I wanted to make sure I was fullfilling my obligations! :R

Question: Does building one of these always result in the destruction of one's garage/work area?? We seem to have destroyed my garage and I was wondering if it would ever be the same?

Maybe instead of "admiring" our progress I could "admire" my nephew's progress in cleaning up my garage!! I'll let ya know how that works for me!

Okay folks, been having some very busy days. :?
Tuesday: called in sick (sick of working) so I bought fenders and all the aluminum trim for the entire cabin. Worked on it till about 10 pm trimming the bottom edges and cutting the trim for the corners.
Wednesday: trimmed the door out and all four corners. Wife covered the cabinet pieces.
Thursday: moved cabin from garage to driveway for marriage to trailer. 3 trips to hardware store for more and diffent bolts, caulk, paint etc. :? Bolted trailer to frame and installed fenders. Put on all roof trim. Tinted the "Iron Cross" window and installed the outside piece. installed the cabinet and carpeted inside( temporary for this weekend, better carpeting for installation later)
Friday plans: build and install door, wire trailer and install trailer lights, test lights and then pull it 2 1/2 hours to camp for the nephew and then turn around and drive home so I can take my girls fishing at 8am on saturday.
Sunday plans: go to church and pray it makes it back from camp so we can finish it!! :worship:

Here are the pics! Mary K the door is on the back. I'll try a hatch when I build my own someday. I think I'll take a break for awhile before I start another!! :)
