Hello from Ca

Postby scatto1 » Sun Apr 06, 2008 8:29 pm

Just made a deal on a Little Guy with a Tailgate package. I used this forum quite a bit before making a decision...waivered from converting a small cargo box, to custom tear drop to settling on the little guy.

Thanks alot...this is similar to my other forums. I own a Mini Cooper and its very similar...lots of helpful and friendly folks with lots of good info.

Thanks.

Image to the playground Scott. There are a bunch of wild ones in your area. Camp all the time. Even go raccoon hunting. 8) ;)

Ya need to fill that album with some pictures. Be sure to modify your little guy too. 8)

Yes, includes the tap, co2, tub, and tubes. Also the fold out bbq. The guy is also including a dvd player, tv, and stereo and has wired it for 110v.

Has anybody used the rear receiver (2in) on of these? I plan to put my hitch mounted bike rack on there and it's only welded to the one section.

I've got some pretty expensive bikes. I've been told it's weighted to 300'lbs. My bikes are all between 14-19lbs (road and mtn bikes). I would hate to see them bouncing down the freeway in my mirror.

Going to pick it up tomorrow night.

Scott...did you get it up at American River RV in Auburn? Quite a number of us teardroppers around this area. Look forward to seeing you at some of the Gatherings...like Antlers RV park at Lake Shasta (the Dam Gathering), May 1-4, should be a campground full of us. Doug

Auburn

I actually looked there, but I was able to find a used one significantly cheaper in Bakersfield. Picking it up tomorrow night.

Has anybody used a dual hitch receiver? I am not comfortable using the one that's installed on the rear of the trailer until it get's reinforced to the second cross member.
