Wonder if anyone ever tried him with a pile of wood and a saw? Just show him a pic of a TD.

Don't believe it, it's gotta be a Hollywood film trick again. However, did you ever see the sidewalk self-painting done by a boa-constrictor?

That's what I was thinking. I have to research this.
Apparently there is an elephant in Buffalo NY that paints, but not nearly as well as this one.

Elephants are extremely intelligent, and I read that they are one of the only animals that are self-aware. They tested this by putting red dots on the elephants' heads and then showing them a mirror. The elephants tried to touch the dot on their own heads, instead of the "other" elephant in the mirror.

But, I guess they can't be too smart. Look what this one can do:

This is also a very good reason to never take your kids to the zoo!

Hi Everybody,

I confess, I thought the video was faked somehow, but apparently it is the real deal. I looked it up at urbanlegends and at snopes. Here is the link to the article at snopes: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/elephantpainting.asp

The elephants have been trained to perform this trick. It seems, though, that some are more talented than others--just like people. ;)

Thanks for posting this!

All the best...
