The using of wheel pants was discussed last year, they are much smaller than I need, except for some planes built in the thirties. Cutting up vintage aircraft parts is not what I want to do, but if I could make a mold of a couple of them? Anybody got a pair I can borrow, I promise not to hurt them?aggie79 wrote:I don't know what they are called, but along the lines of the jelly bean shape, what about something like the aerodynamic wheel covers that go over the wheels and tires of fixed gear aircraft? I think there are some fiberglass models.
Auntie M I think the first two things to do are fenders and 110AC. As far as paintable spray stuff I believe it is, but you have to wait a period of time before you paint, a week I believe. I believe I still have a can of it aroundMiriam C. wrote:Hey Del, did you ever decide how to insulate? Find out if the spray stuff was paintable????
