Newbie from Colorado

Postby liri » Wed Apr 09, 2008 3:35 pm

Hi all, been lurking a bit and thought I'd come out of hiding. I don't have a teardrop..... yet. My husband and I became interested in them after watching the move Kitchen Stories. We aren't willing to spend the money yet but will hopefully be proud owners in the next few years. Unless anyone would like to make a 'donation' :D

Have a great day!

I saw that! Unfortunately I have a commitment on Sunday afternoon so we'd have to wake up quite early to get back. I would love to go and we've never actually SEEN a teardrop so it would be a great opportunity.

Image to the open playground Liri. Once you have seen one you will up your calendar. They are just too cute. I made mine as we had the money so it too a while. Most was money I saved by staying home a lot.

Enjoy

Welcome to the forum. If you hang out here long you'll find a way to start your build. Besides, you can build as slowly or as fast as you want, so you can at least start even if you don't have the funds right this minute for a finished TD. I've been working on ours for almost 4 months and figure I'm about 1/2 way done, although it probably doesn't look like it. BTW, all of San Juan, Ouray, Hindsdale, and San Miguel counties are my favorite places in the world. I don't know if my TD will be stout enough for the trip into the back country, but, can't think of a better place to "tear it up". I would give anything to be their full time.

What they all said...

and I'll donate some plans to you!!!

http://www.mikenchell.com/images/GenericBenroyPlans.pdf

It's a big file so give it time to download. It's the Generic Benroy plans. There are also plans in the vintage plan section, and in the design library section.
