Who knows? With that being a Ratrod, it could be anything. You can sometimes tell by the frame, It looks to be an early 30's something.

Do you know what this is? One of the board members built this a few years back. And yes it's a real car, not a model.

The blue one is a replica of a 23 that Sharon and I built a few years back.
Here's a pic of it just before we put the flames on it, That's Paul Peterson from the Donna Ried Show in the car with me.

It's hard to tell with that one in the first picture, but it looks like a Model T (T's were built up till the late 20's when the Model A came out in 1928). The cowl looks like a T but the grill shell is a model A which is 28 -31

We sold it after owning it for 5 years and taking a 5300 mile trip to Detroit and back. My doctor suggested that I give up the little cars with no suspension

It was Sharon's first attempt at building a car (with some help). It was a calendar car which is how the studio shot was taken, plus a feature car in two different hot rod magazines.

What I think is funny is I was building a rat rod before they became popular. I started on my 51 Plymouth in the early 90's, and would do a little work on it, shoot primer or rattle can paint over the work, and drive it. Was going to colege at the time and did what I could as I could afford it. Still haven't finished it yet. Got put off to build 2 racecars, and 1 teardrop. Had an idea on soemthing new for it the other night, so maybe I'll have to get back to work on it, again.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

That first one is the front half of a 26-27 model T touring. Its sitting on a model A frame with a 28-29 model A grill shell. It appears to have a Chevrolet inline 6 cyl. motor.
Over 55 years of building this kind of stuff, so feel free to ask.
The impossable just takes longer & cost more.

I new there we're a few Teadroppers out there that would appreciate some old vintage cars  & a few of the cars have been modified or changed from the original models off of the assembly line or they are copies same as our many of our Teardrops.

It is always fun & interesting to check out all of the different ideas & taste that people have & many times we find our selves incorperating some of these into our builds.

I have posted a bunch more of the Car Show Pictures early the smorning & I still plan to post around a 150 more, But it may be a day or two.

I have been out working on my new Teardrop, & I will be posting some more pic's of my build hopfully around bed time tonight.
