Things that don't fit anywhere else...

A good bye!

I don't know if it is my best buy, but I got two Kreg pocket drill sets that have not been used at a garage sale for $12.

I try and go out every Saturday morning. It's just like treasure hunting.

Cheers,

Do these two items qualify for a mastercard moment?
$1600 MG
$800 trailer
Adding a gazillion hours to my already overtaxed work load
priceless.
For all other things there is mastercard :?

I replaced my trusty old Lincoln WelPack 100 mig welder, which I have been using for the last 12 or so years with a new Miller Matic 180. Not much brand loyalty there I guess. The old machine had the "convience" of plugging into any 125 volt outlet. The new one is 230 volts. I always wonderd why my welds never seemed to look as good as I would like them too. Found out that I was simply using too small a machine, my first weld with the Miller looked better than my best with the little 125 volt machine. Tomorrow the spool gun comes in and I get to try my hand at mutilating some aluminum.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

But the list goes on.

First there was the two stintns back in Jan 07.

Then the new (to us) house in Kerrville.

Then the Honda Element to save few bucks on gas.

Lots of new furniture for the house.

My new John Deere X300 lawn tractor (close to numer 1 on the list).

The Tuff Shed (12 by 24) for woodworking stuff.

I'm sure I left out some very important ones.

Hard to choose one "best" purchase from time period when purchasing activity has been so far above normal.

It's gonna be a close call now for the best purchase so far..........

Besides the good deal I got on the Queen size air mattress with 1 1/2" memory foam topper and quilted top

I just ordered a camper shell for my truck. We wanted all of our camping gear to stay out of site, dry and safe when we go to the IRG 2.0 this summer as well as other gatheirngs. Of course it will be used when I go to craft shows also. I can take lots more inventory now.

If it will just hurry up and come in.

And I just recently bought these two new toys. More than I wanted to pay but they were just tooo cool and loads of fun to play with!!! 8) 8)

This last year I picked up two things that I use almost everyday
1. A new digital camera - Fuji S700. Very nice, not expensive, great photos, lots of settings...the best part...batteries last a long, long time!! My previous digitals took so-so pix but they were battery hogs.
2. A Nokia N800 internet tablet device. It's a small handheld computer...a little bigger than an iPhone. It has a touch screen, 3GB memory, plays music and movies plus lots of programs available for it. The best thing is that it uses bluetooth to talk to my cellphone and get on the internet! Perfect for the small space in my TD!!
Generic Benroy - built 2007, 4X8, 1175 HF trailer, Structoglass roof and headliner, 12v and 110v electrics with Schumacher charger.
