I had problems with the front wall/ceiling seam. It parted, and caused me a couple of frustrating days. Finally pulled it together with bungee cords and applied Fiberglas tape to the seam. Also added a front on pic and a profile.

It's looking good. I hope we're gonna see some hairy-dynamic fenders to match?

added one new paragraph, 5 pics. All outside ply is now in place and contour sanding has started. One error, yellow romex is 12 gauge, not 14.

I have an incentive... I have to be out of my construction garage in less than a month.. I can paint elsewhere, but all major stuff must be done.. plus, I have to move out of the house, so I'm building and moving and not much else... but, I'm on schedule... I like the way it's looking.. so, I'm pretty happy about the whole thing. With the weather finally warming up, I'm moving along ..

Had to fix a few things today, pics in page 5.

Tomorrow, will fill holes on exterior and prime and paint to keep sun off naked ply (one of problems).

Picked up piano hinge from marine supply today. Will be mounting doors soon.

Hi Arne,

Nice looking build!

Where are you moving to? Did you sell your house? You may have said already but I missed it and am too lazy to look for it.

Keep up the good work!

:applause:

Am moving to a condo house about 10 miles away. No big noisy construction allowed, and this tear should last me for years.... Actually, my first tear would have been fine, but this one should be quite a bit better and easier to tow... having been retired, I wanted to build a no. 2 to incorporate all the things I've learned around here in the past couple of years. No. 2 has a lot of minor improvements over no. 1.

No. 1 was built in 5 weeks with no galley, a/c, microwave, etc.. Those were all added, and the trailer functioned well.

... this one, as mentioned, has a lot of fine-tuning with all my new knowledge.

I also started building no. 1 2 days after I first learned what a tear drop trailer was. All things considered, it has served me well.

Today, in addition to patching holes, I hooked the tear up to the van for a clearance check. Added two photos with explanation at bottom of page 5.

Tomorrow, lots of sanding and more cpes. The 1/8" I used all around is not happy... more later on how that works out.

Today, I also bought a gallon of primer. Tomorrow or monday, it should be all one color, at least on the outside. Because of the crazing of the outside ply, I decided to forgo inside work until outside is protected from sun.
