I just rented and saw this movie The Martian Child with John Cusack.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!!!!

from the true story of an abandoned child who is adopted.

I haven't cried at a movie in a LONG time.... but it was good cry, not sad cry !

Good... and it's a clean movie too .. in case you wonder. No sex or gay stuff , etc.

I also rented There WIll Be Blood... watched about the first 1/3rd and it was hard to turn it off ... can't wait to get home and finish that one !Julie

We loved Martian Child. Our daughter works with special needs kids( don't all kids have special needs?) and this movie helped us to visualize some of her stories she shares with us.
I'll second your recommendation.

I also recently had There Will be Blood out, but didn't finish it; I didn't find it to my liking. If you liked Martian Child see if you can find Behind the Mask. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
