Hi Mandy,

Glad you asked. Tomorrow, tax day, is the first day I'm allowed to squat. What this means is, now the real pain begins. I have to get muscles that haven't been used for six months to lift way too much weight. I'm waiting until the first of the month to sign up for the physical therapy pool to do better work outs.

The thing that would really help is if I lost quite a few pounds. Truthfully that will be tougher than working the knee.

Lynn: Tell me about it. I need to loose some lbs. myself or I'll end up like my Mother who has no cartledge in her knees. I know you can do what ever the PT tells ya to cause your one tough lady.

Peggy: Good to hear your doing better. I had that cold and it took me at least a couple of weeks before I felt a little OK. It took me a month to get rid of the cough. I have never been that sick in a long time either. Also it's good to hear that your husband found work.

God Bless

Lynn,

Our camera is just a little Sony Cybershot, nothing fancy. However several of the pictures I posted (bowl below Delicate Arch and the ruin) are actually two pics that were stitched together using a Canon utility called Photo Stitch. It works great.

I love the shot of your dog! Too funny!

OK ladies here is what I have been doing. Remember I am not a painter and trust me I cant sew. Kenny was a big help with the trailer. He raised it up and took the fenders off for me. He took out all the screws and license plate and lights. Saved me a lot of work. The basket is a pretty red canvas but it was in a tent for the pic. Should be able to paint the trailer in a couple of days.

Have you tried isagenix? I started it in Nov. and have not only dropped about 10 pounds, which I know doesn't sound like much, but it did drop me down 2 pant sizes. Not sure if I'm allowed to post my own advertisement here, but check out www.mikatcdn.isagenix.com My apologies to the admins if this is not allowed.

hey ladies...so glad to see and read all of your posts these last couple days catching up!
I've been offline since March 31, enjoying a little retreat and cast of 1000s surgery at the Memorial Sloan Kettering day spa; just got released back to the world Thursday but am still pretty sore and can't spend much time in one position.

The good news--the docs did the riskier, tougher surgery I insisted on, and it appears to have worked (still need some final tests to be sure.) So I am once again cancer free, and minus a few more internal parts--but hey, I wasn't really using some of them anyway. :)

No lifting, no climbing stairs, no driving for the next two weeks, but since they won't release me to go back to central NY for at least a couple more weeks, that's not much of a problem, either. And while I'll have to do some chemo this summer to ensure "no cancer cell left behind," I will be on disability, and hope hope hope that I can fit in at least a couple of short camping weekends on the non-chemo weeks.

SO GOOD to read all the normalcy of TTT&T, though. A couple of the nurses saw the pics I have of my Sunspot in my palm pilot, and they were fascinated. And I cannot wait to get home and polish her up and take her out for a spin.
