Perhaps when you finally get your teardrop, you will no longer be "Trapped in New Mexico" Welcome to the forum, you have come to the right place. The first thing you have to do is beg, borrow or steal ( or perhaps buy) a fine metal trailer. Then in your spare time, bolt down a few 2x3s and a sheet of plywood and you will be on your way to building a fine teardrop. All you have to do is decide how high it will be, what shape it will be, the size of the doors and windows, selection of fender styles and exterior covering material. That's all there is to it.
Now, get that trailer, slap some wood on it and go on from there. This board is the place to get answers to any of your questions, all you have to do is ask. Building a teardrop will change your life, as it has for many others on this forum. Good luck on your build, take pics and post em and we'll see you soon at one of our many teardrop gatherings.
Roly, So Cal TDer. who was once in the same place as you are about building. Come on over and we'll talk woodworking and teardrop construction
