Mine comes from a movie called "Powwow Highway" and the character in it, Gilbert, has a POS car he calls The War Pony. I have a '73 El Camino (not the one in my avatar) that is a POS but has been a good road bomber for me for about 8 years. I call it The War Pony. I am 1/2 Creek Indian and 1/16 Cherokee so it goes along with my heritage. :twisted:

What makes the movie great for me id that it takes place in this area. Sweet Butte is actually Bear Butte, which is about 20 miles away. I've climbed it before.

I live in Rayville so Rayvillian seemed to fit. Of course Rayville only has 189 souls and I believe they must of counted the dogs and cats to get that many. :lol:

would you believe it's a holdover from when i would go clubbing for 48 hours at a time?

i'd have mercy on the idiots that poisoned themselves and take care of them. (water, food, walk them regularly so they wouldn't pass out) i winced at it then, but it's grown on me as a nickname. (angel of, begging for, divine grace and...)

{yeah, i'm back. preparing to drive from rochester to san francisco with the baby.}

Ira Rat...short (like me) for Ira Ratner.

Nothing exciting here--just a user name I use on a hundred sites so I can REMEMBER it when i have to log in.

Years ago i was married to a musician, and we used to pretend we'd made it big in the music industry, and came up with our professional music names. i'm a van morrison fan, and my name is sue, so tupelosue seemed like a good one. i use it on a few different sites. 8)

When we 1st got our computer I got into a game called Everquest. I had a freind called Pyglett, and his wife was Pyggy. We played together a good bit so I started a toon named Hogg to follow the pork theme later added the surname Tyed, also use Hawg Wild but it is taken a lot of times. HoggTyed very rarely taken so it stuck as my virtual world name and my email address for the last 4 or 5 years. Before that I never could rember what I signed in as a month earlier.

I'm heavily into the Cowboy Action Shooting game. My alias is John Wayne's movie name in his last picture, "The Shootist".
Duke is my all time favorite actor, and there isn't a better way to spend a rainy evening than watching one of his westerns.

2 wars, 5 combat tours, 37 countries, 27 states, 1 wife, 2 boys, and 17 years of selfless service in the United States Army. That should explain a lot. ;)

1st post for me. Mine is the "callsign"/nickname I was given while I was a crew chief in the Air Force. I come from a long line of Dukies, my father, grandfather and probably more.

Old Sarge: Thank you for the service. I've done two tours myself to Afghanistan and probably more to come.

Hopefully I'll get a tear started in the near future. My neighbor here on base started one and got me interested.
Same old soup, just re-heated.
