That's pretty cool. I didn't know Scotty made a teardrop. Starting price seems fair, 'course it IS an auction!

Here is the link: http://www.nationalserroscotty.org/resources/history.html
It leads to the National Serro Scotty Organization. They know a heck of a lot more about Scottys than I.

Its killin me to watch this go without bids this long.... I'm quite sure someone will snipe at the end, but still...

Its one of those that is looking at me with those sad mistreated puppydog eyes begging to be taken home.

p.s. My boat addiction started much this way too... now I have a yard full of those that need to go.

we were kind of interested in it, but it's 12 hours away, and I have already had one "buy it by looking at pictures experience", that turned out a little disappointing. we did email back and forth with the seller a couple times, but will probably pass on it. starting price is good, but without seeing it first, we are nervous about it. he had a couple people that were going to look at it. it'll be interesting to see what it goes for, or maybe it won't sell, never know with ebay.

I don't understand why he is charging $50 for local pickup.

Tim: I don't think he is actually charging for local pickup, I think with ebay you have to put some figure in there, and that's what he put to satisfy the situation. from the emails I got from the seller, he seems like an allright guy, says his wife told him he'll be sorry he sold it, I agreed with that. he did say that is a firm price, it has been repainted inside and out, could use repaint inside, fenders have wear on the paint, [stone chips] it's been kept inside and hardly used the last few years, some years not at all. I'm anxious to see what it goes for. Bob

I am seriously shocked that this didn't even get a 2200 bid!

I wish I lived closer and it was a few hundred lower.. I would be there!

same here on the closer and cheaper. I figured it was not going to sell or a lot of bids near the end. that's a fairly high chunk of money for something if you can't go look first. I asked seller if he had "plan B" if it didn't sell, he said $2200 was firm minimum. wonder what will come of it now. I think he had it on craigslist too. Bob
