Scott, More than likely we will be heading down I-65 but if space is limited for you we could take SR9. Don't know how or if they check on the wood that comes into the park. If they look at my licence plate they may assume the wood came from Allen County. In any event thanks for the offer, looks like you are just across the lane from my campsite so we'll be close.

In years past when I camped I never seemed to have access to wood. Now that I live on land where I have a limitless supply I can't take it anywghere.

Jim not to worry I'm sure there will be plenty of wood I can bring lots and I forgot my friend that's going will be pulling his camper with a truck so I can probably rope him into getting some for me also.

Any way you look at it I'm sure you'll be able to find a fire or 2 to sit beside :campfire:

I can't wait I'm so ready

15 days to go !

About Wed. of next week we can get an idea of the weather. Long term they are calling for mid 70's as a high and mid 50's as a low. Sounds great just hope the sun is out doing his job.

Now the "pressure" is on.

I'll do everything I can including reassuring you that if you feel rain drops, they are really "liquid sunshine drops".

You're right though, we have been really fortunate to have good weather for our gatherings.

Maybe we can pull it off again. :worship:

I'll consult with the "weather Gods" this weekend and see if I can get a firm committment.

Well;

First off I have really been thinking about this trip over the past several months and I have really had to re-think it a bit.

Bob; Thanks for the warm welcomes to your camp for all the great sounding food, but I have still had to think about it a lot.

With current fuel prices and such I don't really know what I will be able to do on this trip.

I have thought and thought about it very seriously over the past few weeks and I just don't know.

I don't want anyone to be :x if I have to make changes to my plans being a newcomer to the group but I have to do what has to be done.

Things are tight right now and I don't want any

Well let me think on this one a bit.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Jeff, we understand the issues. Please let the campground know as soon as you can so that (god forbid) you don't make it, we'll at least have a spot open for the gathering.

It's pretty much all highway driving.

Hope you can make it.

 I didn't read down far enough, I was looking at the picture of the bike, nice what year is it? I had an older Honda.

I was gonna offer you a tent to sleep in if nothing else. Glad your gonna make it.

We've got another for the Trading cards I'm doing Karl's and his Mini-Bago now,
Not to late to have a card with yourself and your pride and joy on it. I can do them up and bring them to the gathering for you, getting awful close to mail them (Bob, Dan and Kurt yours are done do you want me to bring them or mail them?).
Just send me an email and I can get you set up, only .50 cents each, pretty cheap for a nice collectors item and a good way to remember all the people you've meet.

Eh ! no worries your Georgie Bucks will show up soon. I already spent mine. I ordered a custom made hitch for the Suzuki Esteem from UHaul
( Drawtite) $119.00 and I will still need the wiring and ball and ball mount . I am also trying to get my grand Wagoneer back on the road after ignoring him for 2 years. New battery $85.00 New carburetor
$ 300.00. Get carb installed $300.00 ( found several other problems that needed addressed) Back to the shop gas mileage was 6 MPG. Died on the way had to tow it in. Main fusible link fried to exhaust manifold $60.00. Had rear brakes checked while there leaking wheel cylinders causing grabbing replaced rear wheel cylinders and new shoes while there $ 118.00. There's about $1000.00 and I still have to put the jeep in the shop for an exhaust system tomorrow. I really wanted to tow Chubby with the Jeep this time. The Scion handles it but it works the automatic transmission ( I told her to get a manual Oh well ! ) We are exactly 2 weeks away !!
