Now that I've bought the lot next door, I actually have room for a mancave. And I can go as large as 10x12 without requiring a permit. Maybe there is a mancave in my future after all.

Given the relatively small size that my mancave would be, what would you suggest for accessories? It's definitely going to have a fridge. Maybe I'll put a refrigerated mini keg in there too. I don't smoke, so I don't need ashtrays. Maybe a cupboard for beer mugs.

Oh this could be fun...

Mike, get a permit and build a 1,000 sqft man cave you'll never regret it. :D Danny

I think it was called Emergency 41. They drove a red Dodge truck that looked like a phone company truck but had everything they needed in it. They always had those big tackle boxes that was full of gear, too!! Loved that show!!

That was the time of The Rookies and SWAT, also.

Actually it was just called Emergency. The station was Station 51, and it did look similar to your home. The emergency tone was very distinctive. It was one of my favorite programs at the time (early to mid 70s).

"Start an IV, 51...D5W TKO!"

I'd love to have that much space for a man cave :worship:

Mike you could maybe build six of them side by side over 12 months at a time. 8)
Or maybe add a side shed roof to the really tall 10 x 12 one. :D
Planning ahead.

My nephew bought a house with a garage. There was a small apartment over the garage, maybe 450 sq. ft.... It became his man cave. He moved in a picnic table, sofa, a couple of overstuffed chairs and 5 tv sets.... he and his male friends disappear into it on weekends to watch sports, smoke, drink beer, and eat whatever vittles they can come up with.... a couple of the guys are decent cooks, so they bring over pans of pasta dishes, etc....

oh, no women allowed inside.
