head or feet towards hitch for sleeping

Feet toward the hitch / head toward the "kitch" I crack myself up sometimes...other times I'm just cracked...

Our feet are toward the hitch. The inside of my TD is big and open with only cabinets at our feet.

I built big enough to keep from having cabinets over our feet. Claustraphobic!

As long as you both have your feet facing the same directions, and you are not hitting your head on anything...I think you're ok!!!

My grandmother and I used to lay with our head at the end of the bed because it seemed cooler, but then again there was a window at the end of her bed...I guess that's different!

Our tear drop has our feet toward the tongue and under cabinets.

I sleep both ways depending on what tear I'm in. I have a six wide "comunications shack" made from a lil'guy sport with a large satellite dish mounted on the front. Don't know if it was originally built like this but it has cabinets to the front. If sleeping with my feet towards the galley it seems like I would bang my head every time I sat up. At first it seemed a little a**-backwards but I'm kind of getting used to it now.

On mine it will depend we are putting our furnace out the front through the storage box. So on the cold days we will turn our heads to the galley and on the warm days we will have our heads near the hitch. That could change though after testing out the furnace output.

Most tears have the doors towards the front of the trailer. It's just easier to sit in the door, kick off your shoes, lean back and swing your feet to the rear of the tear.

I can understand sleeping either way if you have the same head space.

If you have already put the doors in then for me you have already made the decision on which way I would prefer to sleep.

I never set up my tear totally flat. I always give a little gravity help to keeping the door naturally toward the closed position vs a door that may try to open naturally. Since most doors are hinged on the hitch side, as mine is, I sleep with my head towards the hitch. I dislike sleeping with my feet higher than my head.

Obviously a personal preference.

I on the other hand like the door to swing toward the open position when setup.

I agree with feet lower than my head. That is one problem that I have is that when hitched up and on level ground the hitch end is slightly higher making my feet high. I have to either nose down hill, roll up on some ramps or unhitch and lower the tongue.
