Not mine, but saw it for sale.

Seems quite high for such a pile...

lol I like the description.

more specifically... these parts...

seller wrote:It needs plywood and sheet metal replacement and rear door fabricated (have basic frame that needs to be welded up) to be reassembled.

The tires are not roadworthy and would need to be hauled to its new home.

In other words... after you buy this... you will need to "build from scratch" yourself a teardrop.

Actually the trailer frame looked ok in the pics. Hard to say if there is much value left in the remaining hardware or not, but you wouldnt catch me paying 1,100 for it.

p.s. No matter how hard I try, its hard not to make my rounds on price patrol.

I think this guy tried to sell it before. If I remember correctly the old ad had the pic of the completed trailer first, it made you think that you were getting an assembled and the disassembled pics were the rebuild. After reading the ad carefully did you see that the first pic was "what it will look like when completed."

I'm sure that Gage will post something on this, as he probably knows the production numbers. I may be incorrect, but a King Richards is a pretty rare and desirable one. Someone wanting basically to buy the paper for title purposes and a usable frame patterns and badging might just go for it. Not me, but someone might. Doug

Yep your right Doug. Not to many King Richard's were built. If I'm not mistaken, they were only produced for a couple of years, if that. They were a Benroy with different skin and a couple of other items. KR bought the rights and what not when Benroy went out of business.

Now for the KR which is for sale. I'm not sure but he may have been the buyer when it was listed last year. What ever the price, to me is a workable price. He does say 'or best offer'. I have no room and besides my wife mould most likely kill me if I even thought about it.

P.S. There is also a small story behind the Benroy that he has a pic of at the top of his listing. ;)

I've seen this on KSL a couple of times. He must not be able to find any takers.
