Hey Gang
Do any of you have the item# for the Bullet Hinge at Austin Hardware? I Can't make heads or tails of their new web site, not sure if they even have them anymore. Thanks.

I used these, that I call "Good Humor" hinges. After the Ice cream trucks. They were about $4-5 + shipping.

I'm thinking about using these hinges as well. The McMaster Carr hinges look like they use 2 mounting holes per half. It would be nice to find the wider ones somewhere. I posted a month or so ago about using these to make the doors easily removable. If I remember right Mary's hinges use 4 mounting holes per half. I'm still looking for them.

Finally found a US source for the torpedo hinges with 4 holes if anyone is still interested. I'll try to get a price quote on Monday.

Here is the UK web site that I think manufactures the hinges. They show the above as a distributor and also Austin Hardware.

Nice find Taco, you may have noticed this allready but go to this page http://mooreindhardware.thomasnet.com/v ... &forward=1 find the hinge you want. Then go to Austin hardware on their lift off page http://www.austinhardware.com/subcatego ... ppage=1000 and match the part #. These are toward the end. Looks like you stayed after it longer then I did
