Getting closer

Postby ccdell » Sun May 11, 2008 9:48 pm

In addition my home plumbing chores for the weekend (fixing - I hope- a water leak near my water heater and replacing a faucet) I was able to get some more work done on the tear. I completed the skin on both sides and cut and fit the doors. It is really starting to look like a tear! Of course, I still have the hardest parts left to do. I have to skin the roof (a compound curve nightmare in the works) and build the hatch. :worship: But for now I am feeling good.

BTW: The fenders have yet to be designed/installed, so there will be more space around the tires eventually. Somehow, I just don't think the 1/4" space in the picture is enough clearance.

Looking good bro, I know the feeling of looking at a pile of lumber then, boom, a trailer appears. Keep it up! 8)
