So did yaa "Choo-Choo-Chaa-Boogie?"
I like their version of Huey Lewis' "I Want A New Drug" better than Huey's
:M "Hello, everybody... I'm a dead man... And I aint even six feet underground..." :M

I could go on and on...
Was Asleep at the Steel, Wally with 'em tonight?

looks like they've had some changes. the only "little girl" ;) was elizabeth mcqueen, rhythym guitar and vocals. she was great, tho (and she commented on my vespa outback after the show. classy woman!)

No wally, either.

There was ray (he juggled once) pianist(didn't get his name) dave (bass) dave (drums) jason (fiddle) eddie (pedal steel) and elizabeth.

Grant, you should go see them. i was thinking of you during the show because from my balcony seat without binoculars ray reminded me of you, tall, same beard/goatee, altho in a cowboy hat.

Last night Arlo was great too I've seen him before with his family. this time he was alone and such a great storyteller. he did Alices restaurant again, with a few small changes to make it relevant to today. not that it was irrelevant the other way.

You can get anything you want, at alices restaurant....

Wow, haven't heard Arlo Guthrie in years. Last time I saw him in person he updated Alice's Restaurant and sang about "multi colored rainbow roaches and Nixon saves the world" Guess it's been a while :)

Hi All,
I won't be able to post an updated roster count until May 24th or there abouts...
Joanie is keeping tabs on the situation until I return.
I can only post an update from my computer at home.
Currently, I'm out of town with work.... 12 hour shifts and no days off.
I am really looking forward to getting home and having a day off.
If you are a late registrant and your name isn't on the roster yet, please hold tight until my next update... Thanks

BTW-Have been having a time trying to get online...

:o :o     :D :D

That is dang near amazing!!

Wonderful for those of us who are already registered, and sad for those who haven't. Can't wait to see all those teeny little trailers tucked in between those giant redwoods.

IRG Topped OFF

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Wed May 14, 2008 6:00 pm

:D To the brim (or tire rims)! If you were there in '06, you realize we will be much cozier campers this time.
TDN
P.S. Yesterday I spent a wonderful, sunny day at the Grove with my class. There were 15 children and 12 adults (I know, what a great ratio!) and we had the whole place to ourselves. I went back later that afternoon and spent time relaxing by the river (cuz I may not get to do that during the actual IRG) and watching the wildlife. It was interesting to walk around and visualize what the place will look like in a couple of months filled with tiny tears. Keep on posting....

The final roster update will be posted on the IRG website this evening...
Joanie and I will be doing it tonight.
It's nice to be home once again...
And yes, we are for sure sold out.
I've got a lot of catching up to do on everything, not just IRG stuff. (You should see the "lawn" in my backyard and the "weeds" on the patio)
