PJ II WHO WHAT WHEN and WHERE Oh yes what did need?

Postby ARKPAT » Tue May 13, 2008 9:11 pm

Looks like we are comming from the south and west - so any of you might want to carivan together to look out for each other during travel both ways; you might want to plan meeting times and places. 8)

Is there any other additional people I need to place in the list?

What in the way of meals is needed - group and individule meals.

I will need help on keeping people informed as to the gas prices in the area if some one can help out that lives close.

List of things start below:

Any supplies we might need for the weekend:

I have 450 foam plates ( yep I still tring to ware off the lable on the plastic)

I have Two bundles of firewood ( same here - real seasoned now )

Napkins-

Eatingware-

Drinks-

Trash bags- I have

Friday Night entertainment - movie - set around the campfire - ???

Saturday Night entertainment - movie - set around the campfire - ???

Breakfast Saturday morning:

Breakfast at Rayvillians on Saturday morning - always a good start for the day.

FOOD for potluck Saturday night:

I can get BBQ sliced Beef Brisket - just need to know how many?
Buns or sandwich bread?
BBQ Baked Beans - how many?

If anyone else have others side dishes and deserts they want to do please let me now by PM or post.

Does anyone have a main dish or cook a main dish for meal time you can PM me or post.

Lets have fun and enjoy good company.

Breakfast Sunday morning:

Each too their own Sunday breakfast and vist time around the camps before everyone breaks camp and heads home.

Hi Pat
What can we do to get more folks interested in this Gathering?
Is there a list from last year we can use to contact those who came last year but are not registered this year?

the link below is for a gas price site for Arkansas. It has the price of the Love truck stop at Morrilton.
http://www.arkansasgasprices.com/index. ... =Morrilton

Let me know if I can help in other ways.

Pat I just posted on the other PJ post. Gene & I plan to be there, also Jon, just haven't made reservations yet. Thought I had better let you know.

See you then.

Larry thanks for the link.

I know it is hard to travel several hundred miles with gas in some areas at or near $4 a gallon.

I was going to check with the Park's registar but failed to complete the call or drive ( I prefer the drive down ) to check on the number of site already taken. I'm going down for the car show that weekend before PJ II( that is if I'm off work that day ). I might stay the whole week.
The car show is the weekend before our dates so maybe we will not have many campsite still occupied from the show. ;)

I will have another very long week the following weekend at work ( 49 hours ) and a week later a longer week ( 86 hours ). :(

So I need some camping in. ;) :applause:

I am also ready to get out and camp. I have to go to Clarksville and then over towards Scranton every Monday. I like to come home the back way so I can come over the Mountain to just see the beautiful place Petit Jean is.

Let me know if I can help.

Larry, there are a few from last year that don't plan to attend this year for different reasons. A few are planning IRG 2.0 in July and chose to miss this gathering. I think Oklahomajewel will be busy with her sons.
No matter how many attend we will have a great time.
I will miss the tiki hut and the margarita's though.

Sorry we won't be there as we will be getting ready for the Western tour that ends at the IRGII. We owe everyone a drink.

Eddie sorry to here you will not be there in three weeks. I understand about IRG II. I hope you both have a good time and send you some pictures.

Looks like I need to make a visit to see how many campers we have in area "B" and Area "C".

Although my TD is in the "just beginning" stage, Donna and I plan to drive up on Sat and have a look-see at as many teardrops as possible and meet up with some of you good folks. I was also planning to make the car show too, but with the fuel prices what they are, I don't know if 2 trips are gonna happen :(

Jeff I'm planning on doing the same thing. That is why I took vacation time to get it all in for both weekends ( it will save me 300 miles of travel - $50 in fuel - it will almost pay for my camping in the park all week ) ; I hope. :worship:
Glad to have you come by and check out the trailers and people. Bring a camera and note pad. ;)
