My New Trailer

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby rmclarke » Thu May 08, 2008 4:58 am

Dianne,

Neat little trailer! I really like that low vent/window; I've been thinking of doing something like that in my build.

Best regards.

Thank you. It really helps cool the trailer down. I was sitting in it with only the roof open and it was pretty good but when I opened the window on the floor it cooled off quick.

Dianne;
Did you buy fenders yet? I have a pair leftover from my build last year. They are the standard Harbor Freight trailer fenders. You can have them if you want to pay shipping.
I bought some nice round fenders (kind of like older boat trailer fenders) from Northern Tool. Not expensive...even with shipping it was reasonable.
Just some stuff to think about...Let me know if you want the HF fenders.

I do not have any fenders yet. Do you want to bring them to Minnesota? You are going on the 30th, right? I will be there.

Thanks!

Thats cute for sure. You might have to back up the axle to put fenders on if they are too big.

I didn't think of that.  Maybe I can cut out a groove in the fender so the door can swing open. Or cut it in half  I'll see what happens...
Hey! at least one fender will fit...I only have one door!

And thanks deputydogrick. I am REALLY needing luck. I have no clue what I am doing...

In a differnt thread I posted that I thought I was going to have a problem with one of my dog's getting used to the idea of being in a box. I was right. She had a fit. The other one was perfectly fine and he laid down and didn't care.
Did any one else have a problem with this?
How did you fix it?

Dianne
Saddly, I don't think there is too much 'fix' to her. She is an idiot.

I didn't think I would have any problems with getting my dog in my teardrop and I was right. He hopped right in......into Lori's teardrop when she came over with it! He likes the ladies!

My dog was more then happy to hop in the trailer. I barely had to lift him to get in. (He is getting older, and he is about 75 pounds of fur. The less work he has to do the better, so he lets me lift him up on car rides.) But my parents dog, the idiot, was a different story. :?

Well I am glad you don't have problems.
