Palo Duro Canyon pictures

Postby Gern Blanston » Sun May 18, 2008 1:45 pm

Well, the Palo Duro gathering was a huge success. Terrific weather and wonderful company. Thanks to all who travelled so far to get here and thanks to all who fed me so well. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Here are a few pictures:

Thanks for the pics. I've been waiting to see who posts first.

Wish we could have been there. Would have been more fun than where we ended up on Saturday (Hospital)......Charles had Kidney stones again. Passed it but have 3 more.

Can't wait for more pics. Glad it was a sucessful gathering.

Thanks for posting the pictures, Gern. We had a great time but did not take any pictures. The canyon was beautiful. What a fun time renewing friendships and making new friends.Ed & Ruby

Dave, excellent pictures, as always. We had such a great time and now, with the pictures that you and Gern have posted and the ones Casey Dog and maybe others will post, we can enjoy this adventure over and over again. I can see us in the coldest part of winter, when the snow is deep, we will go to these pictures and once more recapture the warm comfort of camping with friends. Thanks so much to every one for a great time. And it would be great to make it an anual outing, Lets do it. Once more thanks to Woody for picking a date and making it happen. Ed & Ruby

We got home about 9:00. Took the long slow way home. No problems. We drove through Caprock Canyons S P. Pretty place as well as Palo Duro. All the campsites were fairly level with grass & roof over the picnic tables. We plan on camping there sometime.

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend. We'll be back.

Linda,
You gotta get Charles well so we can all go to IRG. Hope he's doing better. Kidney stones are no fun. I'd rather camp in the rain in a tent all weekend than have one kidney stone.
