Yup, the Buy it Now was $4000. I had placed it on here (Mike's T&TTT site) with a Buy it Now option at $3500 before I listed it on Ebay. I wanted to give the tear group first dibs. I placed the Buy it Now for $4000 on Ebay. As soon as the reserve is met, the Buy it Now goes away.
Someone may pick it up for $2550, (as of tonight) or maybe even more than the Buy It Now was originally? It depends on how well the auction goes, and how many people are willing to bid.
The only other item I sold on Ebay was a 1956 boat I rebuilt. I had the Buy it Now set at 1700, but had no takers for the Buy it Now, so it stayed on as auction. The boat met reserve - Buy it Now went away, and finally ended up selling for $2200. *shrugs*
Not sure how much the Puffin will go for. I'm glad that there is so much interest - at the same time it's bittersweet because of all the memories and work I put into that little camper. *sniff* She's a great little camper. Ok. *pounds chest with fist* Movin' on...
