We have been so busy trying to get the trees off the roof and get someone to fix the holes, we haven't even talked about what to bring. If things go o.k. we plan to be there and I will have some kind of DO food. Sorry I can't tell you what at this point.

Hope to see you all at PJ.

Being close to the Fourth I thought I would bring 8 lbs BBQ sliced Briscut and baked BBQ beans. :)
I will need a Duch Oven wizard :Flippin Burger: to help me finish cooking the briscut for the meal. I have some panels to make a table top serving table.

Haven't started building our teardrop yet but we will be staying in the lodge at PJ.

If you don't mind us joining the group for dinner, we would be happy to bring some side dishes.

I've never known us to go hungry  . At least my boyish figure doesn't show it. . Cindy posted on another thread that she's going to do a King Ranch casserolle. I think we may also bring some brisket. :Flippin Burger: We're ready to go right now but I still have three days of work left.

We are also bringing Chicken breasts to smoke. We will have our propane/wood smoker if anyone needs it.

We might make a few Montery Jack Chicken.

Dave, I know for sure we won't go hungry.

I have the teardrop packed, the back of the truck packed (love the camper shell, I can pack ahead of time and lock camper shell).

We will leave after work Thursday and stop for the night. Will be at Petit Jean Friday morning.

See everyone then........... hope everyone has a safe trip........

Linda, got any suggestions as to what we need in the way of food? Looks like there is going to be a lot of meat. We plan to be there on thursday evening. A friend of ours was killed in Texas on a motorcycle and the funeral will be thursday at Ozark. That will put us pretty close to PJ so we will just go on over there. If you have any ideas, let me know. I can bring veggies, dessert, or what ever you think we need to round out the meal.

Thanks, see you on friday.

hi Betty,
I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

Food.............hum..............I'm sure anything you bring will be eaten.
We are bringing Chicken breast because we have quite a bit.

I could bring something else too. It's hard to guess what others might bring that haven't chimmed in yet.

Just fix what you want Betty. you know we will eat it.
