Good morning.
I have been reading posts here for a few weeks and have the "Generic Benroy Plans" nearly memorized. Seems I am consumed. Being in Alaska makes locating parts challenging -- No harbor freight, nothern tool etc. They all want as much for freight as for a trailer. Two weeks ago I started with an axel assembly and six pieces of steel. The trailer is built, the floor is almost ready and the sides are cut. I am hoping to build a "pooky bunk" for my 2 year old as a slight modification to the benroy plan.
Parts are tricky (windows, t molding, decent hinges) but the good news is summer is neither dark nor hot so I am planning to avoid much of the wiring and vent systems that look pretty time-consuming.
Wish me luck... Weekend after the fourth I hope to be on the road!
